Jay Stucki was in born Salt Lake City, Utah, 1960. Prior to opening his own law practice in 1997, Jay was the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for American Health Choice, Inc., (Nasdaq SmallCap). Prior to joining American HealthChoice, Jay had a successful career in aviation. He was the Director of Aviation for the Jacksonville (Florida) Port Authority, Airport Director for Worcester (Massachusetts) Airport, and Operations Supervisor at the Midland (Texas) International Airport. Jay is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) and serves as a legal expert in various aviation related matters. In addition to being an experienced litigator, Jay’s practice area encompasses serving as a mediator, arbitrator and as a court appointed receiver for complex business disputes.
Jay is also experienced in representing different sizes of businesses, private as well as publicly traded companies, in complex legal proceedings, business practices, and matters beyond legal aspects such as financial, growth strategies, and practical day-to-day operations.

Ellen Cook Sacco—Member

Ellen Sacco has over a decade of litigation experience including 2003-present at Hulse ♦ Stucki, focusing on the representation of individuals and small businesses in business and employment law disputes. Prior to joining Hulse ♦ Stucki, Ellen spent two years litigating property damage and personal injury defense cases for a large insurance company.
Some of Ellen’s accomplishments include numerous bench trials and over 15 jury trials tried to verdict, including successful representation of a plaintiff in a wrongful termination case and a trial that resulted in a judgment for Ellen’s client in a fraud action against the client’s former agent. Ellen also obtained a summary judgment for the plaintiff in a case involving fraudulent inducement of a contract to purchase a business; the case later settled pending a trial on damages.
Ellen is also experienced in representing clients in injunction proceedings and has obtained temporary restraining orders and injunctions for employers against former employees for theft of trade secrets, violation of non-compete agreements, and other illegal activity.
Ellen has also successfully represented clients at the appellate level, both at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and Dallas Court of Appeals.
Away from work, Ellen enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling, and searching for the best sushi in DFW with her husband, Mike.

Donald M. Kaiser, Jr.—Member

Donald Kaiser has over a decade of litigation experience including 2006-present at Hulse ♦ Stucki, focusing on the representation of individuals and small businesses in business and employment law disputes with an emphasis in the healthcare field.
Some of Donald’s accomplishments include representation of clients ranging from corporate entities to private individuals related to the entry into and termination of partnerships, LLC memberships, and other business relations. He has successfully prevented and obtained injunctions on behalf of his clients relating to a wide variety of legal issues including the destruction of collateral, intellectual property rights, and healthcare issues. Donald has aided clients in the formation of corporate entities and obtaining licensing agreements for the sale of licensed merchandise and other negotiated contractual rights. He has also successfully assisted clients in preserving collateral with values in excess of $300,000 and has experience in the Federal District Courts and United States Bankruptcy Courts with respect to litigated matters, including asset/right preservation and recovery in bankruptcy.

Lisa M. Lopez—Associate
Lisa M. Lopez joined Hulse ♦ Stucki in June 2011. She represents individuals and businesses in a variety of employment, healthcare, and business law matters. Prior to working with Hulse ♦ Stucki, Lisa worked for a small firm in Richardson, TX, practicing healthcare litigation and family law.
Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys focusing on local and international justice issues. She annually travels to the Democratic Republic of Congo to serve female victims of sexual violence and to train Congolese attorneys in conflict resolution and leadership skills.
